Robert Heath

Unfortunately we are getting more and more complaints about the service that you are getting from Robert Heath, who are supposed to look after your boilers and heating systems. The RA have had 4 serious complaints about Robert Heath which we told Downland about, and we were told by Tania Hutley that Downland were aware that Robert Heath were not satisfactory, and she had been told that there would be a new telephone system whereby when anyone rang in they were asked to press 1 on their telephone if the query was for a breakdown, and that this should enable you to get through to Robert Heath quicker. We are not holding our breath, but we would like feedback from you to tell us whether this is working. The committee said that this was just excuses from Robert Heath who haven't got enough operatives to be able to cover the amount of work that Downland gave them. Tania Hutley told us that Mike Robbins, who is Downland contract manager is monitoring this situation very closely and has asked that any tenant who is not getting satisfactory service from Robert Heath should report it to Downland, whether you will get any better service in the future remains to be seen.
